Fees
We provide neuropsychological and psychological evaluations on an out-of-pocket basis. Costs vary depending on the referral question and the student’s age. Most standard evaluations range from $2,500 to $5,600. Payment is made directly to our practice at the time of service.
Concierge evaluations are available for families who require priority scheduling, increased flexibility, or a higher level of coordination. These evaluations typically range from $6,000 to $10,000 and reflect the additional clinician time required for expedited scheduling, direct testing by the evaluating psychologist, and coordination with schools or other professionals. When appropriate, portions of the evaluation may be conducted in the school or another agreed upon setting.
Concierge services are private-pay and are not typically available for evaluations conducted under school district funding or IEE rate structures.
We are in network with Capital District Physicians Health Plan (CDPHP). However, we are not currently accepting new CDPHP referrals due to scheduling limitations. In rare circumstances, exceptions may be made for medically complex cases, such as epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions that require neuropsychological evaluation.
Families with other insurance plans should expect to pay out of pocket for the evaluation. Some families choose to submit documentation to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Out-of-Network Insurance Reimbursement

If you do not have CDPHP but would like to seek out-of-network reimbursement, contact your insurance company and ask about coverage for the procedure codes listed below. Coverage depends on the referral question, your child’s medical history, and your specific insurance plan. We cannot guarantee reimbursement. You would be responsible for paying the full cost of the evaluation up front and then submitting for reimbursement through your insurer.
