Fees

We provide neuropsychological and psychological evaluations on an out of pocket basis. Costs vary depending on the referral question and your child’s age. Most evaluations range from $2,500 to $5,600. Payment is made directly to our practice at the time of service.

Our concierge evaluations typically range from $6,000 to $10,000. These evaluations offer faster scheduling and greater flexibility. When appropriate, we may coordinate with schools to complete portions of the evaluation in the school setting.

We are in network with Capital District Physicians Health Plan (CDPHP).

However, we are not currently accepting new CDPHP referrals due to scheduling limitations.

In rare circumstances, exceptions may be made for medically complex cases, such as epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, or other neurological conditions that require neuropsychological evaluation.

Families with other insurance plans should expect to pay out of pocket for the evaluation.

Some families choose to submit documentation to their insurance company for possible out of network reimbursement.

Out-of-Network Insurance Reimbursement

If you do not have CDPHP but would like to seek out-of-network reimbursement, contact your insurance company and ask about coverage for the procedure codes listed below. Coverage depends on the referral question, your child’s medical history, and your specific insurance plan. We cannot guarantee reimbursement. You would be responsible for paying the full cost of the evaluation up front and then submitting for reimbursement through your insurer.

For Neuropsychological Evaluations
