Concierge Evaluation Services
 

Concierge evaluation services are available for families who require faster scheduling or greater flexibility than is possible with standard evaluation scheduling. These services include faster report turnaround and the option to conduct testing in a setting that is more convenient for the student and family (for example, at the school, a library, or a nearby office). 

 

Concierge services are private-pay and are not typically available for evaluations conducted under school district funding or IEE rate structures.
 

Concierge services are especially helpful when families are seeking collaborative consultation with educators to support academic planning, or when the evaluation requires coordination with multiple health care providers. The added flexibility in scheduling and location can make it easier to communicate with the school team, obtain relevant input from educators, and coordinate care with other professionals involved in the student’s treatment or educational planning.
 

We partner with schools across New York State when concierge services are arranged privately by families and agreed upon by the school. In these cases, evaluations may be conducted on site when appropriate. This approach allows students to complete testing in a familiar setting and can reduce travel, missed academic time, and scheduling demands for families.

Concierge evaluations follow the same comprehensive assessment process used in our standard evaluations. The difference is that these services allow for more individualized scheduling and coordination when circumstances make traditional office based testing difficult. When evaluations are conducted at the student’s school, the setting may also allow for additional individualized care, such as classroom observations when appropriate and consultation with members of the school team.

• an evaluation is needed within a shorter time frame
